Not having our own snack brand

makes us unique in the industry.

History of Innovation
A History of Innovation
fOR OVER 20 YEARS, G&S Foods has enabled snack food companies to DEVELOP AND enhance products without capital investment or increaseD overhead.

Steve Garvick and Dale Spahr founded G&S Foods in a 20,000 sq ft leased facility in York, PA.  They offered private label and contract manufactured snacks with their first product line manufacturing seasoned pretzels and snack mix blends.

Having already outgrown their 20,000 sq ft warehouse, G&S Foods and Tastysnack Quality Foods relocated to a 75,000 sq ft facility in Abbottstown, PA.  They purchased this facility two years later.

G&S Foods acquired a 110,000 sq ft temperature-controlled warehouse in Hanover, PA to meet growing demand for private label.

G&S Foods acquired Tastysnack, Inc. and formed Tastysnack Quality Foods, Inc. which provided a single compound enrobing line which they used to manufacture enrobed pretzels for private label.

G&S Foods added 22,500 temperature-controlled square feet to the Abbottstown facility.

MAW acquired G&S Foods and Tastysnack Quality Foods and became G&S Foods, LLC.
